Agro Women Africa is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of women farmers and promoting gender inclusion in African agriculture through innovation and technology. With a mission to build a vibrant community of women in agriculture, Agro Women Africa offers mentorship, coaching, agronomic practices, access to funding, agri-processing skills, management training, and links to agricultural services. Through various projects and campaigns, the organization strives to inspire African women to find lasting solutions to poverty, hunger, malnutrition, and food insecurity through the power of agriculture.

Campaign Programmes:
Agro Women Africa believes in the potential of women to feed the world and drive agricultural transformation. Through their campaign programmes, they aim to raise awareness, inspire action, and create opportunities for women in the agricultural sector. These campaigns include:

Projects Driving Transformation
Agro Women Africa implements a range of projects to empower women in agriculture and foster sustainable agricultural practices. These projects include:
- Farming as a Business – A 2-day agribusiness training for women farmers to build resilience pending the effect of COVID’19 on their livelihoods and to enlighten them on the economic benefits of farming.
- Village Savings and Loans Association (VSLA) – is a community-based microfinance model that is self-capitalized savings and credit group that operates on a rotating savings and credit system. Members of the group contribute money regularly and the total amount is available as a loan to members for income generating activities such as farming, small business ventures or household expenses. The interest charged on the loans is used to pay for administrative costs and to build up the group’s savings.
- Agricultural Revolution for Smallholder Women Farmers (ARSWF) – A one- day seminar for women farmers on climate smart agriculture, conservation farming and sustainable farming.
- Financial Literacy for smallholder women farmers – Training organized for women farmers in their various communities on how they can manage money in their businesses in order for their businesses to grow.
- The Millionaire Farmer Project: – Engaging the youth (females) to venture into farming especially livestock and greenhouse farming.
- Seeds of Gold Project – Reaching out to farming communities who have been trained by our team to provide them with improved seed varieties to our smallholder women farmers
- Farm Digital Conference – A one day workshop organized for women in agriculture to be trained on how to leverage on technology to make the most out of their farms.
